Otter Lieffe is a working-class trans woman, an author and grassroots community organiser. She is best known for her trans feminist speculative fiction novels centring marginalised experiences in powerful, deeply diverse resistance movements. I worked closely with the author to realise her vision in a way that conveyed the overarching themes of each book yet tied them all together as a trilogy.
I can highly recommend reading these gems! My favourite is Conserve and Control with its exposure of the real power dynamics at play in the near future’s apparent progress. It’s an important (and I think urgent) warning about the insidious workings of “green” capitalism, representation without real change, and the conservation industry.
